Bones, Muscles and Joints

I've been meaning to blog about this a long time ago after finishing my fourth block but now it's already the 4th week of the fifth block. But oh well, the fourth block was called musculoskeletal block where we learnt about the bones.

Well sort of la. We also celebrated Chinese New Year in our faculty.

Melissa and I also danced for Ponggal Night in main campus. But I'll keep that story for another day because i need to seriously study since i didn't study the entire weekend!! I've been such a lazy fat arse this block. I really need to be rajin again.

I just came back from cell group meeting which just ended right before curfew. I almost didn't go because I was sleeping till 10 minutes before i left. For some strange reason, I decided to go although I was really close to continuing my sleep. However, I'm glad that I when because today's discussion was quite interesting and enlightening. Today's theme was Light. We played a game of treasure hunt where we were supposed to find glow in the dark stars which had pieces of paper attached to them. finally we had to join the pieces of paper which had questions relating to light and darkness together with bible verses. Mind you that we had to find the stars in an unlit room and they were strategically placed in places where their glow would not be obvious to the untrained eye. I remember feeling lost in the dark because I really couldn't find any stars and after awhile i felt bored with no sense of direction. But when i finally found a star, I finally found some excitement. But it was only temporary because the paper attached to it was meant for another group and the star was bound to lose its shine. I only felt better when the light was switched on. I think i can relate the feeling i felt while playing this game with what was trying to be delivered by Grace. The only way to feel secured is to make sure that the light is always shining and not let things block it, overshadowing you which may mislead you.
John 12:35-36

Believe in the light then, while you have it, so that you will be the people of the light.

New Year's Resolution.

Okay, so I'm one month late but since i didn't make one for this year I'll make one for this Lunar New Year. It's the year of the cow or is it bull?? Owh now I'm reminded by the 2 cows i played with right before they were slaughtered. Anyways, I only have one which is....drum roll please, to Not procrastinate. I haven't been updating this blog because of this bad habit of mine. Habit...something very hard to break n start another. Here are some of the things that i wanted to blog about but didn't:

1. Golden Child Camp by Sarawak Children's Cancer Society
2. Christmas
3. Choc chip cookies which turned out well.
   
4. cheesecake. not so good. tasted nice but appearance yuck.
5. holidays.

I've already forgotten the details of those events so I'm just gonna put up pictures to make up for it.

Dream Wedding

FELLY BELLY!!!!

I finally met Feli after her return form KL about half a month ago. The last time i saw her was during mid-year. GOsh i miss her so much. Meeting her reminded me of times in early secondary school where i spent most of my time in the back of the class talking to Feli bout boys, dreams, passions, boys and girls we don't like. I always got scolding from teachers telling me to basically shut up. Somehow FEli manage to avoid such remarks even though she's doing half the talking too(okay so maybe i did do most of the talking). I think not much have changed, we still talk about the same stuff. We ate at sushi and walked around window shopping. Then i decided to get contact lens for the first time. It took me about one hour to wear them on in the shop. Boy, they weren't kidding when they said that humans blink around 16 to 20 times per minute. And waddya know, i happen to blink a lot more when i try to put foreign object into my eyes. I really didnt think it would take me that long. What did Feli do when i busy putting contact lens? Good question. Feli, what did u do? Sorry for keeping you waiting. the sales girl or whatever u call a person working at an optical shop couldnt wait to get rid of me so fast until she forgot to give me the container for me to keep the lens. wth. i was so frustrated about that after realizing it only when i reached the hostel. I much prefer the other hotter salesgirl, who's so hot, that i would totally dig her if i were a boy. Don't worry Melissa, you'll always come first.
